From 3 pm, 18 April to the 26th of April at 8 am the myIR online services, phone lines & and offices will be unavailable while they work to improve and update their systems.
But what does this mean and how does this affect you? ➡ PAYE: Employer monthly schedules (IR348) for March 2019 are due by 20 April 2019. Plan ahead and file before myIR becomes unavailable at 3 pm. on 18 April.
However, since key systems will be unavailable from 3 pm on Thursday, 18 April to 8 am on Friday, 26 April, any returns due during this period can be filed on 26 April 2019 without any incurring penalties.
➡ GST: Don’t worry GST returns and payments for March 2019 are due by 7 May 2019. (Extended due to the Easter Period.)
